In the financial since 1986, Sylvain successively occupied the positions of certified life underwriter and financial planner, mortgage officer and sales manager for a large Québec financial institution. In 1997, he founded his own financial services and planning company, De Champlain Groupe Financier. Sylvain is a partner and coach at Virage Coaching. In 2005, he was recognized (Journal Finance et Investissement) as the financial advisor most respected by his peers for the province of Quebec, then given the province-wide award of excellence from Québec's Chambre de la sécurité financière in 2008. As an industry expert, he is a regular contributor to the various media. In addition, Sylvain is often invited to speak at various national conferences.
